What do you offer for children, youth and young adults on Sunday morning?

Our youth and young adults are a special part of our congregation and we value them as full participants in the life of Word of Deliverance. We have a nursery for toddlers through age 3 and children’s church for youth pre-school through the 8th grade. The nursery is offered during both Sunday morning services, but children’s church at this time is only during the 11:00 a.m. service. Young adults, in high-school through 2nd year college usually sit in regular service with the entire congregation. Sunday school and enrichment classes are held for young adults during our Biblical Enrichment hour at 8:30 a.m.

Who goes to your church?

Word of Deliverance has quite a mixture of people. Our congregation spans from newborns to people in their 80s, and some even 90s. You will find every type of person here – married, single, divorced, widowed – professionals, workers, retirees and much more. But more important the kind of people who go here are the kind of people who are welcome here – and that is EVERYONE!

What is your denomination? Do I have to belong to a particular denomination to go here?

Word of Deliverance is a non-denominational ministry. You do not need to belong to a particular denomination to attend our services or join our church.

Do I have to dress up to attend your worship services?

No. Dressing up is not a requirement to worship with us at Word of Deliverance. Some do come in with their “Sunday best”, but your will also see those who come in with slacks, a casual shirt or even jeans. When you attend you may see our Senior Pastor, choir and some clergy dressed up, but you are not required to.

When do you take communion? Can a visitor take communion?

Yes. We as a congregation take communion every first Sunday, excluding the first Sunday in April. We believe in open-communion – that means anyone who believes in Jesus Christ is welcome to take communion.
